Acceptance of Terms & Conditions 
and Privacy Notice

​By booking an appointment and using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and accept our 

 

This includes consent to the processing of personal data as outlined in the Privacy Notice, in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1.  Service Description

  • Bourne Ear Care provides professional mobile ear wax removal services. Our services are performed by qualified professionals using the Tympa System.​

2. Current Fees

  • Wax Removal (One Ear): £45

  • Wax Removal (Both Ears): £60

  • Consultation Fee (if no wax is present): £20

  • Second Appointment: £30 (if wax cannot be completely removed at the first appointment)

  • Payments are due at the time of service and can be made via cash, cheque, or bank transfer.

  • From 1st April 2025 the fees will be:

  • Wax Removal (One Ear): £50

  • Wax Removal (Both Ears): £65

  • Consultation Fee (if no wax is present): £25

Second Appointment: £35 (if wax cannot be completely removed in the first appointment).

3. Booking and Cancellations

  • Appointments must be booked in advance by contacting us directly.

  • While there is currently no cancellation fee, please give as much notice as possible if you need to cancel.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide accurate medical information and disclose any conditions that may affect the earwax removal procedure.

  • Clients are responsible for following pre-appointment instructions provided by Bourne Ear Care. See our website for further information.​

5. Health and Safety Protocols

  • Bourne Ear Care is committed to maintaining the highest standards of health and safety. Our protocols include:

  • Hygiene Standards: All equipment is sterilised before each use, and our professionals adhere to strict hand hygiene practices.

  • Equipment Sterilisation: The Tympa System and other tools are sterilised according to manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.

6. Liability

  • Bourne Ear Care is not liable for any complications or adverse reactions resulting from the ear wax removal procedure.

  • Clients acknowledge the inherent risks associated with ear wax removal and consent to the procedure with full understanding of these risks.

7. Insurance

  • Bourne Ear Care has comprehensive liability insurance coverage in place to protect both our business and our clients in case of unforeseen incidents.

  • This insurance ensures that any potential claims or complications are managed professionally and with the necessary financial support provided by our insurance policy, offering peace of mind for both parties.

 

8. Confidentiality

  • All personal information collected during the booking process and treatment will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of providing ear care services.

  • Bourne Ear Care adheres to strict confidentiality protocols to ensure that your personal information is protected.

9. Data Protection

  • Bourne Ear Care complies with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

  • Personal data is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to safeguard your data.

  • If you have any complaints or concerns about our services, please ask for a copy of our complaints policy.

11. Refunds and Disputes

  • Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us within 7 days of your appointment to discuss any concerns.

  • Any disputes will be handled in accordance with UK consumer protection laws. Bourne Ear Care aims to resolve all disputes amicably and efficiently.

12. Consent

  • By booking an appointment, clients consent to the ear wax removal procedure and acknowledge the associated risks and benefits.

  • Clients also consent to the use of their personal data for the purpose of providing the service.

13. Updates to Terms

  • Bourne Ear Care reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review the terms periodically for any changes.
